Come join us in the late fall of 2008 in the historic city of Boston, Massachusetts for a three-day shooting-intensive workshop. We will spend three days and nights photographing in the wonderful old city of Boston. This workshop is limited to eight people and one-on-one instruction will be provided throughout.
Fall is one of the best times to visit Boston. The summer crowds have left and the weather is perfect for spending hours walking though the city. We will focus on dawn, dusk, and night photography. At times of day when the light is bad for outdoor shooting we will perform reviews of your past days’ photos, as well as give lessons on Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for any who are interested.
If you have a laptop, we’ll help you to evaluate and develop your own images on your own computer.
Meet in Boston in the mid-morning. We will have lunch as a group and head off for our first sunset location. After the sun goes down we will break for dinner, and anyone who is interested in night photography can join us for our last session of the day.
We meet just before dawn and spend another full day shooting, breaking only for meals and a short period in the mid afternoon. Night sessions are always optional as we may go late into the evening.
We meet in the morning before dawn and go out; we will spend the morning shooting and then meet in the early afternoon for our final session.
Here is a list of just a few of the locations you will get to see and photograph:
The average temperature in Boston in late October is in the low 60s, though at night it can get even cooler. Since we will be photographing from before dawn until well into the night, we will experience a variety of different weather conditions so we do suggest you bring a few layers of clothing.
This workshop is not all-inclusive. We will provide a wealth of information about the attractions and restaurants in the Boston area.
The cost for this workshop is only $599 and includes a rugged map of Boston, information about the history of the area, photography tips and guidelines, and more. Register online right now!
